Like wearing slippers in public--but better!
I bought these shoes in a light pink in the summer and I haven't taken them off since. They are versitile comfortable warm and ideal for walking long distances and shopping.
Just before buying them I'd been wearing strappy sandles and heals for 10-14 hours/day. After showing up for a peddicure with scabs and scars all over my poor feet my nail lady told me to try some Uggs. So I did. My feet have healed they are well insulated and stay moisturized because of the thick lining.
The uggs are so comfortable infact that they have inspired me to walk to work--1.5miles each way. How many shoes can you say that about? There is no break-in period and they feel like you are wearing nice slippers in public.
I don't worry about walking on ice in them because there isn't a heel to twist an ankle on and there is plenty of traction. Better than docs for the bad weather actually because the soles don't freeze and they keep your feet PLENTY warm.
There are only three drawbacks: the suede--I didn't treat it quick enough and now the water marks show from walking in the snow; and the casualness of them. As soon as I find uggs in something that works with a suit I'm set for life! In the meantime I wear them to walk to work change shoes in my office and then switch back into them if I know I'm not going to meetings for a while. The third is the height while I like the shorter boot for under jeans it isn't something that would look OK with anything else and certainly looks goofy by itself.
These shoes are in my main closet with the rest of the shoes I will never part with--my docs and birks. They belong in that elite shoe category of classic comfortable and well made. I can't wait to get another pair.

Fabulous little boots
I recently purchased these in black then chocolate. I wear a 10 and purchased the black in a 10. They fit perfectly but I could quickly see that they would stretch a bit so I ordered the chocolate in a 9. They were so snug I could hardly get them on the first time but they are already stretching out to be very comfortable. I have worn these with and without socks and they are super comfy and warm either way. I have a high arch and have trouble wearing anything without good arch support and right away I noticed the nice bump at the arch when I slipped them on. I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about when saying they have no arch support because I find the complete opposite to be true. I bought some suede/nubuck water repellent spray for them and so far it's been working great. Let's face it when the weather is cold enough here for boots like these there is surely to be lots of snow on the ground so if I couldn't wear them in the snow that would defeat the purpose of having them. It's too soon to tell how they will hold up for the entire winter but so far so good and I am very pleased with my purchases.

The REAL Aussie Uggs!!!
To those saying these are a cheap substitute for real Australian uggs DO YOUR RESEARCH! These are one of the ONLY ugg boots available on the US market that are made with 100% Australian sheepskin unlike others that claim to be Australian (even including it in their brand name) but are really an American owned company who get their boots made in China and don't use 100% Australian wool products the only use a small percentage and substitute the rest with inferior blends.
These boots are not meant to be washed and the will be very snug when you first put them on as the wool takes a few days to mold around our foot. If you are planning on wearing these outside you should waterproof them. Ugg boots were originally designed to be like a slipper you wont get many self-respecting Australians wearing them outside unless they don't care what they look like the name "Ugg" comes from UGLY!
As an Australian these are the only ugg boots I would buy outside of Australia and I wouldn't be caught dead in those inferior substitutes that call themselves Australian but cost twice the price.

LOOOOOVE THEM!
I love these boots my first pair of Uggs since they are ugly... but sooo comfortable! The company shipped them right out and I received them quickly! I was impressed. Remember when ordering these boots they run a little big. I wear a size 7 and should have gotten a smaller size however they don't have half sizes:(

The only Emu boot style you should buy!
I love these- the quality of these boots are superb. I have a few pairs of Uggs and Emus- they are all my favorite (depending on the day) but I absolutely love these boots. I have them in black and didn't find the dye transfer on my feet an issue.
I am a size 8.5 and find the 8 fitting just right. There is a bit of arch and heel support that Ugg Classics lack.
If choosing between these and the Emu Bronte Hi forget the Brontes and buy these instead. You definitely pay for the quality and it is worth it! I buy my 4 year old the Brontes and splurge on the good ones for myself!
Very comfy practical sexy and chic! I love my boots!

Note: You might want to go a half-size smaller when getting these boots.

Ugg Cove in Black
These are really cute & comfortable. They are lined all everywhere inside except for the footbed. That is a very soft sued. The bottom is supportive like a sneaker! Much more comfortable than the traditional Uggs. They also run smaller in width than the traditonal Uggs. The length seems normal. You have to grab the back of them to shove your foot in them & tug them off. They are warm but not as warm as the traditonal Uggs. I wish the traditional Uggs had the support of these Uggs except with the full lining! That would be pure toasty foot heaven!
I bought these for everyday winter wear & I'm not disapointed! I find I can wear them with just about anything!
For those of you who like to show off that you are wearing genuine Uggs they don't have the usual metal logo on the back of the heel. It is printed into the back of the heel in the same color as the boot. It is also featured along one side.

looove these boots
I have these boots in the light brown and I absolutely love them!! They are sooo warm for the winter and they are really comfortable I wear them everywhere. I actually just order a pair in black. When you first put them on some of the fur will come out but I think its only excess once you wear them a few times it doesn't shed and the more you wear it the more comfortable it becomes. I would definitely recommend these boots! I take a size 9.5 but I ordered them in a 9 and they fit perfectly so I would recommend going .5 a size smaller.

Bearpaw is a stylish Ugg alternative at a great price!
I love these Bearpaw brand boots. They are very similar to the popular Ugg-style boots at a much better price! Bearpaw's Eva boots are comfortable and warm. They can be worn with or without socks. The sheepskin lining makes them feel like a slipper inside! These boots are actually available in 8" 10" and 12" heights and the top edge can be rolled down to show off the furry lining.

Good Product
I rarely write reviews but when I was researching this product (actualy the BearPaw 410 10" Eva Boots identical to these minus the extra two inches) the reviews are what helped me make my decision. I thought I'd give others an extra insight and perspective.
I was actually planning to buy the 10" boots but saw that the 12" boots were the exact same price. So I thought hey.. I'll get more bang for my buck (in this case 2 inches!) and bought the 12" instead.
First I want to comment on the sizing. I followed Amazon's general shoe size chart for women's and even measured one of my shoes that fit me perfectly. My shoe sizes sometimes vary but I busted out a ruler to be exact. I was a size 9 according to the chart. The shoes I was measuring from was also a 9. BearPaw and many reviewers suggested getting one size up from your regular show size so I ordered a size 10. In my case that didn't work well for me.
Overall these boots are great material and quality. I really don't have any bad things to say about them. They're extremely comfy... they feel like house slippers and are way cheaper than Uggs! So the only issue I have with them is more of a personal issue.
You see I've got big calves. They aren't fat... but really solid... full of muscle. Whenever I try to do cardio the only area that seems to get toned is my calves. Such a curse. (BTW I measure at 17" all the way around my mid-calf). Anyhow these boots were very tight at the edge. It was like a really tight rubberband around my calf an I'd normally deal with stuff like that but it was very uncomfortable. On the other hand the shoes were too big for my feet by at least an inch to an inch and a half.
It's kind of awkward to wear but I think I'll deal with these issues. I can always wear thicker socks so it's better slightly too big than slightly too small. I'm actually folding down the extra "2 inches" which makes the boots less uncomfortable but I'm hoping that the material will stretch over time to accomodate my enlarged calf and possible my jeans. It's also too tight to squeeze jeans into.
If the boot fit perfectly I'd totally give it 5 stars. It may be a little unfair to dock it a star since everyone's shoe size and calf size can vary widely but I think the company should offer boots with an extended calf (most other brands do for boots). This way girls with big calves or girls who want to tuck in their jeans (or both!) have the room to do so.

Great for those chilly fall mornings.
I was reluctant to purchase these unless I found them on sale but after trying them on and wearing them for a bit I woulda payed full-price for these boots. They are the perfect "walk-your-kids-to-school" boots especially now that fall is here. They are stylish without being too fussy and comfortable just like slippers and warm while still letting your feet breath. My only concern is keeping them still looking new as the knit material can attract dirt. I originally got them in a light pink and later got them in grey. I find myself wearing the grey more often as the neutral colour matches well.
I recommend ordering down if you're a half size (ie. 7.5 order a 7) or sticking with your regular size if you're a solid number (ie. 8 should order 8). The liner does flatten out a bit after wearing and the knit does stretch a bit as well but not enough to size down a complete size.

Absolutely Amazing
I fell in love with my Uggs the moment I slipped them onto my feet for the very first time. They are wonderfully comfortable & very warm. No your feet won't sweat in warm weather I promise. Most comfortable fit shoe of my life. I wear them at least 6 days a week! **Be sure to order a size down from your normal shoe size. I'm normally a 6 but I bought a 5.** Wear these withOUT socks and they feel like heaven. Wearing them with socks is bulky & well they weren't meant for sock wearing. Cave in & buy them it'll be the best $139 you've ever spent!!! Stuck on what color to get? Black turns your feet black. The dark tan is hard to match things with. The sand is perfect for everything!! Put them under your pants or over.. they go perfect with any day's outfit or weather :)
